Globe Soccer Awards for, among others, best football agent and director of the year

The Audi Football Night Gala will, for the third time, host the presentation of the Globe Soccer Awards in accordance with the assessment of the jury consisting of representatives of the EFAA (European Football Agents Associations), the ECA (European Club Association) and other personalities from the football world.

The Awards have filled a gap in international football. They recognise the ability of two categories that have been underestimated in terms of their technical contribution. Since 2010 there has been the footballing equivalent of the Oscars for players’ agents and club directors.

The final results of the various domestic championships and the finals of the main cups, as well as the European Championships in the Ukraine and Poland, will provide important indications to determine the field of candidates for the 2012 Awards. EFAA and ECA will work towards this goal and will indicate the choices for best agent and best director (in terms of the teams they represent) by the end of September, after the first board meetings of the new season. The Globe Soccer jury will then examine further candidacies for players who have established particular records in the year and directors whose distinguished careers in the game deserve recognition.
