The closing event of Globe Soccer with the fantastic gala at the Atlantis The Palm Hotel, after a truly interesting edition of the International Sports Conference, was a preordained triumph for Florentino Pérez’ Real Madrid and he took home seven Awards thanks to the best ever season in the 21st century. The trophies won at European and world level, the Spanish Cup, the European Super Cup, and the absolute record for straight wins earned the awards for best team, best coach, best player, best young player, best chairman, as well as the best media executive and the fans’ favourite awards. Real Madrid, Ancelotti (2), Cristiano Ronaldo (2), James Rodriguez and Florentino Pérez were the winners.
The celebrations for the tenth Champions League/European Cup triumph are complete.
