H.E. Dr. Ahmad Al Sharif

Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council

Dr. Ahmad Al Sharif is currently the Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, in addition to several other positions, most notably: Secretary General of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award, Head of Marketing and Communication  Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award, a member of the Board of Directors  at the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Sports Complex, a member of the International Council for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport, and Dance, a member of the International Academy of Sports Science and Technology.

Dr. Ahmad is immensely experienced both scientifically and practically through having held  positions such as: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Assistant to the activities of the Student Welfare (2000 -2007), President of the UAE Interschool Sports Association (2000 -2008), a member of the International School Sport Federation (2003 -2008) and a member of the National Olympic Committee (2000 2005).
