Qusay Al Fawaz

The investment and marketing adviser to the chairman of the General Authority for Sports in his previous job, Al Fawaz was unopposed in October’s election for the post of SAFF president.

He brings a wealth of experience to the job, having spent more than two decades in in business management and leadership roles, 15 of those years in telecom, sports investment, organisational transformation, and corporate culture generation and enhancement.

Al Fawaz dreams of putting Saudi Arabia’s domestic league among the top 10 in the world, and his manifesto includes increasing the number of coaches and raising their efficiency, finding specialised scouts to discover talents, increase the number of professional players abroad, and developing innovative training programs.
