Among his many successes are those of having scored the most goals in the history of football, of having scored the most goals in the history of the Champions League, of having scored the most goals in FIFA competitions with the Portuguese national team, of having won the top scorer rankings in England, Spain and Italy and to have scored more than 100 goals in three league clubs and with Portugal.
