Serie A League Special Innovation Award

This year, a special recognition goes to the Italian Serie A League, for the design and implementation of the first centralised VAR Room, an innovation that will greatly improve the task of referees.

Serie A has created a fully-integrated television production centre, able to control and deliver their product also in versions intended for foreign countries. A real jewel of Italian hi-tech, once again placing Italy among the most innovative football Leagues in Europe.
