Carlo Ancelotti is an Italian coach who is currently at Bayern Munich in the Bundes League. During his career he has won a great deal. In Italy he coached AC Milan to an Italian Cup (2002/2003), a Serie A title (2003/2004) and an Italian Super Cup (2004).
In international competitions he has won a UEFA Intertoto Cup with Juventus (1999). In addition, he managed to equal the record for the number of UEFA Champions League wins held by fellow coach Bob Paisley, winning two with AC Milan (2002/2003 – 2006/2007) and one with Real Madrid (2013/2014), and the record of UEFA Super Cups wins with Josep Guardiola, winning two with AC Milan (2003, 2007) and one with Real Madrid (2014). To these trophies we may then add the two Club World Cups with AC Milan in 2007 and with Real Madrid in 2014.
Carlo Ancelotti also coached in the Premier League from 2009 to 2011 as coach of Chelsea, with which he won a Community Shield (2009), a Premier League title (2009/2010) and an F.A. Cup (2009/2010).
In addition, he has also won in France with Paris Saint-Germain (French championship – 2012/2013) and in Spain with Real Madrid (Spanish Cup – 2013/2014).
On his arrival at Bayern Munich this year he immediately led his team to victory for his first German trophy, the German Super Cup.
His personal awards are also numerous. Among many we may recall the two AIC Football Oscars as best coach (2001, 2004), two Panchine d’oro (2002/2003, 2003/2004), an award as UEFA Coach of the year (2003), two awards as Best coach of the year of the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), four awards as Best coach of the month in the Premier League (November 2009, August 2010, March 2011 and April 2011), a National Enzo Bearzot Award (2014), and two Globe Soccer Awards as Best coach of the year (2014) and as Best media attraction (2014).
