Operating under the umbrella of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the Dubai International Sports Conference is organised by Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

Throughout the last 18 years, DISC has grown to become one of football’s top brainstorming events, identifying relevant issues in the sport and promoting conversations among decision makers to not just find solutions, but also develop new horizons.

The attention of the entire football world was drawn once again to the Emirates in January 2024, when the Dubai Sports Council hosted another edition of the Dubai International Sports Conference featuring some of football’s most prominent international players discussing what’s next for the sport.

The Conference is now well established as a key forum for extensive discussion on the global development and challenges facing the world of football. Since 2006 it has built on its remit to bring together the top leaders in all areas of football including chairmen, directors, referees, agents, players and coaches. This provides a unique opportunity for all participants to share their combined expertise and experience and to discuss new ways to develop and enrich the sport at every level.
