One of the most talented Emirati football players, born in 1983 and nicknamed Golden Boy.
He won the Golden Ball for the FIFA U-20 World cup 2003 after leading the UAE team to the quarter-finals and the first Gulf Cup title 4 years later. Scoring five goals in five games, he won the title of the best player and goal of the tournament.
Ismail wore the shirt of Al Wahda club throughout all his career, represented the UAE team in more than 100 games and is a model for the ideal player inside and outside the stadium. An example for UAE players.
