Lyon Best Women’s Club of the Year

By winning the UEFA Champions League for the eighth time in Italy, the French team reconfirmed the extremely high level that characterises their recent history. In Turin, with outgoing Barcelona champion Queen Putellas, Lyon proved again, and against their most prestigious opponent, that in the women’s field in Europe they can boast of the same role played by Real Madrid in the men’s sector. Ten finals and eight titles won, the last two against Barça (already beaten at Budapest by 4 to 1 in 2019). In some ways a women’s revenge while waiting for the PSG of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar to do the same in Europe.
